JCS plays a main role in the sending process. We are taking care of the selection of supervising organization. We hosting enrolment of suitable candidates and completion of their pre-departure training in India. Selection of candidates is done by supervising organization or implementing organization for undergoing TITP in Japan.
We help the candidates for completion of documentation for their entry in Japan. JCS coordinates supervising organization and implementing organization during the days of the intern trainees’ technical training and also provide stay for them in Japan. We have the provision of support the technical intern trainees to settle back to India for post completion of training in Japan.

This is a new residency status that was introduced by the Government of Japan in April 2019, under which aspiring Indian youth can take up a job and stay in Japan. Japan introduced ‘Specified Skilled Worker’ to address the severe labor shortages in Japan by accepting foreign human resources with specific expertise and skills. As of January 2021, Japan has signed SSW Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) with 13 nations including India. India and Japan signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in January 2021 for the implementation of ‘Specified Skilled Worker’ between India and Japan.
In order to work under a Specified Skilled Worker (i) status of residence, you need to pass a Japanese language test and a skills proficiency test. (You do not need to pass these tests if you have satisfactorily completed Technical Intern Training (ii). However, to work in a different field, you need to pass a skills proficiency test in the field in which you wish to work.) Afterward, if you sign a contract with a company, you can apply for your Specified Skilled Worker status of residence.
An aspiring SSW candidate can participate in the SSW program through 14 sectors specified by the Government of Japan. These sectors are: Nursing care, Building cleaning management, Machine parts & tooling industries, Industrial machinery industry
Electric, electronics and information Industries, Construction industry, Shipbuilding and ship machinery industry, Automobile repair and maintenance, Aviation industry, Accommodation industry, Agriculture, Fishery & aquaculture, Manufacture of food and beverages, Food service industry.
The skill level is confirmed by sector-specific skill exams. Those who have completed three years in Technical Intern Training in the same sector are exempted from exams.
Accepts foreign nationals (18 years old or above) with considerable degree of knowledge or experience belonging to a specific sector. For more information on How to work as SSW.
Proficiency in Japanese language required in daily life and at the workplace needs to be confirmed by Japanese language exams. Those who have completed three years in Technical Intern Training are exempted from the exams.
Currently up to 5 years in total. Accompaniment of family members isn’t permitted.

Indocosmo takes the role of a Sending Organization (SO) by identifying, training and providing Technical training and Language training for interested candidates to be recruited for on-the-job training in Japan companies.
TITP, is a program commenced by Japan in 1993, aims to contribute to developing countries by accepting people from these countries and transferring skills through On-the-Job-Training(‘OJT’). TITP intends to empower Indian youth by providing them with skill development and career advancement opportunities.
